I am in the process of building a Ls/Vtec turboed right now. I am using a B18a1 block and a B16a3 head, all fully built of course. I did alot of research on all of the b series engines and it seems like the b16a is one of the best flowing heads.

Do a little search on this, lots of people are running ls/vtec and I'm sure plenty are using b16 trannys.
BTW what is your question? If people are running ls/v?

I'm another LSV guy. Walking proof that a LSV done properly WILL last. 11.5 cr and GSR trans. 5th gear sucks, but on the street....man, it's a killer. I only spun mine to 8500rpm on the track and 7k daily. USE GOOD RINGS. 10K rpm is NOT a good idea. Safely depending on use of ARP bolts or not and if you're going forged internals you might spin to 9k....MAYBE.

Good luck.
