Default Eg coupe w/ gsr motor

I have a eg coupe and im going to drop in a jdm gsr motor. the previous motor was turbo single cam which blew, anyways will the sohc vtec engine harness obd1 work with a obd1 gsr motor?

I also would like to know if i can use stock gsr mounts and do i need to use integra axles?

You can use the EX harness with modifications (adding knock sensor and IAB). You use all Integra brackets and mounts but keep the Civic rubber mounts. You will use Integra axles.

read what he just posted: you CAN use your stock engine harness with modifications: addition of three wires: knock sensor(1) and the IAB aka secondary butterflies(2).

for the IAB hook up the positive side to a positive wire on the engine (any yellow and black wire will do) and on the negative ground to chassis or engine ground (thermostat housing, etc...)

BTW in addition you need to get any type B series engine axles and the intermediate piece too.

BTW you can still reuse all of your stock mounts unless you plan to go road racing, drag,
auto cross, etc...

The only part you really need is that rear mount bracket which you can get from any b-series engine integra or del sol VTEC.
