b18 into eg swap help please
ive read up a little about it on here but wanna make sure i got a few things correct
i read that i will need engine mounts from an integra 94-00 is this correct?
so i want the b18 engine, gearbox, engine loom, ecu and mounts from a 94-00 integra... do i need anything else like driveshafts etc?

obd2 or obd1 motor? i just did the swap 2 days ago i used the drivers side top mount, civic passenger trans mount, integra rear t bracket (can be brought from inline4) gsr axles, depending on what your car is (ex,dx,etc) and what year the motor is will depend on if you need a wireing harness

Well...if the motor is from a 94-95 integra everything is plug and play!! If you have a 96&up, your gonna have to use your harness, change the dist.., and ecu to obd1. But as far as axles. and shiftlinkage and motor mounts...you can use any 94-01 integra parts!

94-up integra harness will work in the EG's, obd1 and obd2.. if he gets a COMPLETE integra swap 94-up, any year, it'll be a direct bolt on, and harness will work also.

i believe the engine in my civic is a D13B2 1.3 16v
so is the axles and things a must have can i not just use the engine + box + wiring & ecu

If your current motor is a D-series, and the motor going in is a b18, you will have to have axles to match the tranny...ie, B-series axles to B-series motor. I am doing the same kind of swap into my eg civic. B18b1 all motor, with a GSR tranny.(and axles)....

say you have a 95 civic lx and you used the d series harness and converted the plugs on the distrubtor and injectors to the b18b1 plugs (out of 96 integra). what pcm would plug into the harness? and is there a need to wire in a crank sensor??? the motor has a crank sensor but not sure if the pcm, which i assume will be an obd1?, will need to see the crank sensor?? or if the crank sensor can just not be installed.
