So I'm about to swap the wiring from my 95 hatch with d16z6 onto the jdm b16a and I have a few questions

The two turqoise ones go together right? If so, what about the pink one...i don't see the plug for that.

(this is my first swap so be nice)




Also where is the knock sensor that i'm supose to wire?

And lastly...

 

The two teals match up; they are for the IACV.

The pink one; one line runs to the canister. the other one comes off the throttle body to the canister. and the pipe; a line goes from there to the canister.

 

alright...i understand all that except for that plug circled in pink...where does that plug go onto the b16

your going to need to take the evap purge solenoid off your motor; (the pink thing) and swap it into your b16.

 

where on the b16? since its not in the same spot...sorry for all the questions...i am a complete noob at the whole engine swap thing...

just let it chill/dangle; or drill and tap the hang over on the manifold to accept a screw to bolt it onto.

Its not there on JDM motors because its there for US emissions.

 

oo cool..so i will probably be throwing a code for it..o well...any idea where the knock sensor is...Last question i promise..thanks so much for helping me

 

if that is not connected; it will not throw a CEL.
