SI gauge Cluster ??

It's more than likely your sending unit from your fuel tank, or the float is stuck.

Not so fast. While that could be the problem, there are other things he could check for free that could cause the problem. There could be a bad connection somewhere. Under the rear seat cushion, there is access to the gas tank and the sensor that tells you how much gas you have. you can pull that out, and inspect it. Also, before you buy a cluster, try to find one to borrow from a friend to see if that is the case.

Did you swap clusters? Did it work before?
Try another cluster. Try another cluster fuel/temp gauge section.
Check the float. Check the sender. Check for loose wiring on the cluster connectors or @ tank.
Then, if it does turn out to be the cluster section, on the si set, you can just buy a new section, for ~$30

hey where do i go bout diagnosing this cluster.. .my factory one works.. ive put it my friends coupe and it works for him so...im tryin to think can it be a float problem

yea tha old cluster works..the car came with an ex cluster...thats da one that tha gas needle works on it...but when i put my si cluster on my friends coupe...the gas needle worked on his car...my trouble is why it the gas needle doesnt work on my car
And since getting the Si cluster, you did retry your original ex cluster......which worked?
