Default steering wheel help!

i got a stock motor in a EG lx sedan, since its cold over here in Canada and my car's steering wheel gets frozen everyday after leaving it outside for one night. can anybody help me with this problem? i was thinking of changing the steering fluid, and whatelse?? any inputs will be appreciated! thx, HT!

well good to see another canadian here. i imagine u mean it get like really hard to turn and what not.. if not then ignore.. seems to happen to me everytime i drive my car in the winter think u just gotta ignore it and drive it then it will start to be good again...

it couldn't possibly get colder than alberta in ontario could it? (i used to live in red deer) wondering because i've never seen a steering wheel get frozen XD

ya you sissy Ontario people, hahaa, j/k, I am assuming you have power steering? Maybe there is some moisture in your PS fluid and thats what is causing the frozen feeling. If thats the case you will need a PS fluid flush, that should help. Even on -35C days here my steering wheel doesn't freeze, so something is not right...do you have a lot of ice build up in your steering components? Like your axles suspension, linkages? You may just need a thaw in some heated underground parking.

my steering wheel is hard to turn and shifter is kinda hard to change gears too. so just flush the PS fluid then, thx! damn i hate winter

shifter is hard to? Try thawing your car out first before doing anything.

you could always put an autostart system in the car so you could start the car a few min. before driving it to warm it up and thaw it out a lil haha..
