Are you running forced induction or involved in road racing?

If not, don't bother, just keep up with you oil change intervals.

If this is mainly for daily driving I would probably say no.

During normal driving conditions even spirited driving on the streets you will not have a need for the oil cooler unless as stated above you have force induction.

I currently run a oil cooler on my rsx-s mainly for road racing. I burned up 3qt of oil on a hot arizona day on track. Since the oil cooler I have not burned one drop.

It's like the Mugen thermostat - fan switch - radiator cap combo. Most of the time, for most of us, it's unnecessary. But as f1nal zeros illustrated, it's good to have when you do need it.

Thanks for the feedback. I am thinking about getting a supercharger that is the reason behind getting the oil cooler.

Any ideas which charger might be best for the EP3? Or should i just go Turbo?

if you're unclear on going turbo or SC, you might want to rethink everything. FI dosent come cheap because maintenance become more expensive. more parts can break as ur putting more pressure for ur internals to handle. take the cost of your setup + tuning and add about 1000 every year on top of your normal maintenance. even if your turbo dosent give out, your engine might give out and you will have a fun time doing a rebuild.

Which supercharger is best for the EP? Check back in a few months. The new, revitalized Jackson Racing is going to have a Rotrex-based kit, and Redshift Motorsports will be working on fitting a twin-screw blower into an EP (and/or an ASA-based blower).

A Rotrex-based kit with top-mount intercooler in California has been up to 270 whp on the stock K20A3 motor, as an example.
