Default BAD vibration after swap

when i am accelerating, i get a bad vibration. i just did a swap in my CRX Si, 90, about a month ago, B16a. i am using Raxles axles and installed a new clutch. no check engine lights, no signs of a mis-fire. i dunno if it's coming from the tranny or the axles. anyone else experience this? it's like a shaking vibration that comes and goes. it doesn't really do it all the time.

bad axle, bad tie rod end, bent wheel, broken motor mount? is it speed related or engine speed related. what can you do to reproduce it?

I had a similar problem with my swap...it turned out to be exhaust related and would occur randomly...just make sure you have enough clearance for the exhaust to move around a bit...everything from the header on down.

What kind of mounts are you using? I know all 3 kits use rather stiff mounts, which give a crazy vibration for a while till they break in.... and even after that. 99% chance that it's the mounts, dont worry about it.... it's completely normal.

I had the same problem. I'm using 90 Integra axles and it shook very badly when accelerating because I hadn't taken the spacers out of the hubs. I'm not sure about the Raxles but since I popped that spacer out it's been good to go.

hmmm. i'm thinking exhaust. mine is tensioned so it can't reall move. mounts are the new HASPORTS. i don't think it did it when i had the open header, though, so imma try the exhaust..

I know this sounds weird, but check your lug nuts on your front tires....

I know what you mean man. I'm using the Place Kit and Vibration with the clutch out is not that bad, but in gear, it almost seems that something is not balanced, then goes away at higher RPM. I'm going to be checking out my axles. From what I've heard around is that it could be my axles, or lugnuts. My exhaust make a short noise and vibration, but I can tell the difference and I don't think it's that.

thanks. i know it's not the lugs, i tighten them every week. with a torque wrench. (avid auto-xer)

as for my Axles, they are the Raxles Si-R axles, with an Si-R intermediate shaft.

i'm going to try the exhaust thing. considering it hangs really wierd.
