B swap motor mounts not lining up, worn/sagging?
My 97 coupe has a ls swap, a while back it got a bad vibration under load.
Swapped the axles, and have been waiting to check the mounts.
Well I check the rear And it's got an insert and the mount is in good condition, the tranny mount was pretty worn so i replaced it, threw an insert in and now I noticed nothing lines up,+ every mount bolt is on the verge of stripping bc of this.
I noticed the innovative tbelt mount isn't alligned great, the urethane bushing is sagging.
The shift linkage bushing is also misalligned and sagging.
Anyone ever experience the same problem or have a set of urethane mounts wear into a position that throws off normal engine allignment?

im kinda lost as to what your problem is. is it that the bolts are lined up right, or that the inserts/bushings are wearing out quickly?

notice how the one mount wearing and going bad caused the others to sag and motor to lean.
Now after removing and replacing the damaged mounts I am unable to get anything to line up properly.

You are jacking the motor up with a floor jack to regular height to replace the mounts correct? If you don't the motor will sag and nothing will line up correctly. Use a floor jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan but be careful not to dent the oil pan or anything like that.

Re: B swap motor mounts not lining up, worn/sagging?
ive done manya swaps, never had this problem.
the mounts themselves are sagging so with the new ones installed the others are not lining up,
the mounts are all in, just every bolt supporting the motor is giving me tons of resistance, as if they are about to break.

so all the mounts are in and tight and you can't get the bolts loose? are you jacking up the motor? lol you didn't really answer the question, without taking pressure off the mounts your wont be able to get anything loose most likely.. maybe with the new ones installed the other ones are too worn to support the engine causing it to sag? Maybe the tranny mount is wrong? I've never experieced this with having all the right parts. i think we're all confused as to what your problem is really.

Re: B swap motor mounts not lining up, worn/sagging?
not taking them out, reinstalling them was the problem.
I have it all back together, but the rear torque mount was the biggest problem.
I had to run my impact to get the two 19mm bolts in the trans.
this was with all the other mounts installed but loose, while supporting the dif side of the trans with a jack at numerous heights.
seems as if having a bad mount for sometime caused the others to sit unevenly, upon installing new mounts/inserts the old mounts gave me resistance.
I still have a minor vibration and will just have to deal with it until I can drive my integra.
I was just wondering if anyone had ever dealt with this problem before, I have never had this much trouble securing the mounts. I literally blasted the trans bolts for 15 minutes with my impact running them in and out, never did it pull any aluminum as Id backed them out.

I know the LS engine mount 3 bolt is different than the B16A 2 bolt. But the rear and trans mounts should be the same, at least mine are.
Just looked at your pics again, you know you are using a b16a drivers side mount on an LS engine right? Not sure if the lower portion of the mount positions the engine any different, but that might be why your engine is cocked in the engine bay.
