Which Wheels?
I am building a sleeper, and have the oppertunity to pick up a set of '93 GS-R wheels for a good price from a friend of mine. Which do you think I should go with, the 5th gen si hub caps, or the 14" 2nd gen GS-R alloys?

well, honda hubcaps are a little hard to steal when the lugs hold them on, you unexperienced hubcap thief.

Re: Which Wheels? (91civic)
Actually my hubcaps can be popped right off. The lookalike lugs on the hubcap are just plastic. The real lugs are underneath on the steelies.

Re: Which Wheels? (red civic standard)
GSR's, they are wider and who would want to really steal those anyway. There are more people around here that are stealing hub cap wheels so they can have spares.

Re: Which Wheels? (gsx)
hey greg,
yeah the suspension is awesome...took me a while to get it in because I ruined all the control arm bushings...
i am surprised that there aren't more takers on the hubcaps. I think they are super sleeper...but heavy. So what is the best 14" tire on the market currently?

Re: Which Wheels? (ED6)
Stealing hub caps? OH man, you should have been around in the early days of SOCAL import scene. Back in 93-94, the 14" stocks/hubcaps on the 92-95 Civic EX/SI's were the ****. People were jacking those and selling them for an easy $200 (in 1993 money) yeah and putting them on their 90-91 H/B's and EG DX coupes. Shoot man, those tear drop CIvic hubs were the ****..
just reminiscing again... the good ole days.
