Default My Clogged cat ?

If i take out all the inside stuff of the cat, and put back in the o2 sensor, will i throw a code?

this is in a 96 RS.

I am doing this because all the stuff fell off the walls of the cat, not to be super fast with my CAI.

or is there a spacer thing i can buy?

you wont throw any codes. ive done this almost 2 times. 1 was with my bros accord. he didnt want to spend money on a high flow cat. so we drilled and took all the honey combs out of the cat. car worked perfect. and right now i dont even have a cat. just a pipe. that acts as a cat. but my o2 sensor isnt on the cat its on my headers. but accord we did it no engine light. you mean your cat was making noise? and when you unscrew it all the dust fell out? make sure you took everything out so it looks like a empty pipe. or it will keep falling and make noise.

erase it. i didnt have money to buy a new cat when i had my almighty d16y7, but my cat was clogged and a mechanic just hollowed it out. it would throw the "efficiency" code and i would just erase it.

what can i say? i had no money.

pull the ECU FUSE for a little while ( more then ten seconds ) or disconnect the negative battery cable but with this you will lose all memeory stored on your radio. then plug it back in and expect to see the code again, after that go out and buy a new converter. then once that is installed try clearing the code again.
