02 or the cat
i got code 67 which calls for second o2 ssensor. i changed the sensor but the same code pop back up. does any know if it's the cat.. by the way it's a 99 b16 thanks for the help

no prob man. im trying to think. i gutted my cat out and no codes. i have a 97 y5. its funny because i threw 3 codes way before gutting the cat. ELD, o2 sensor and speed senor. and all it was was a stupid fuse. the cat is just made up of a bunch of really small honeycomb ****.

if you only have 70k it is still under warranty at the dealership. it's a 8yr/80k mile warranty so go get yourself a new cat for free! MEOW!

What ever you do, do not gut the cat out on your B16. You will throw a code. Just check your fuses and there is a fuse in the engine compartment that you may need to pull when resetting the ecu. Obd2 is a pain when it comes to throwing CEL's and trying to figure out why. Or just take the car to Discount auto parts and have them scan the ecu's memory.
