new motor swap- i got spark and fuel but IT WONT START!
Just did my first motor swap but I cant get it to start. It throws engine codes 8 and 21.
It WAS LS-V. Now just LS. No vtec. I havent changed the computer but that shoudnt stop it from running right? Any Ideas?

seeing is how you changed the head for the nonvtec head, you must have messed up the timing. Set everything to tdc, check your firing order, and try again

What are codes 8 and 21? Is it cranking or clicking or what? Jesus, kid: give us some information if you want any help
