Personally id save a few hundred bucks more and go with a new kit or specifically a peekboost kit.

spend your money else where. If you really looking to boost an R then get ready to spend close to 10k for a real setup that will actually make your motor last.

Rebuilt turbo's are fine depending on what was wrong with them. Also, depending on if a reputable shop rebuilt it. It's a risk obviously... are you willing to take it?
