max psi on 8.7spring tial wategate?

Without a boost controller and in a perfect world you would not be able to run more than 8.7psi of boost on your 8.7psi spring. This is obviously not a perfect world so the actual amount can and probably will vary slightly from person to person. You might run 8psi, you might run 9psi, or if you have a poorly designed manifold it might creep to 12psi or something. There is only one way to find out.....run it and see. You should be in the ballpark (within 1psi or so) if all goes well.

That is correct. Then to get more you have to add on a boost controller or some sort (either MBC or EBC).
