Camber kit question??
I just went to get my front two wheels balanced at a local reputable alignment shop because the two front wheels needed to be balanced. So the guy tells me that I should just let him bend the knuckles and as long as I keep it at that height my camber for the front will be dead on or perfect(sounds great but what if I decide to raise my Civic up or drop it lower??). I suggested that I will just buy a Skunk2 adjustable camber kit for the front and call it a day. He then said that would be fine but what happens when the ball joint goes bad on your aftermarket Skunk2 ball joints??.....He replied than you have to order a whole new Skunk 2 front camber kit again.....Now is this true or should I just buy the Skunk 2 camber kit for the front and call it a day. I know that I have to do something because I'm not trying to wear through all my tires unevenly but I would like someone who has been in my shoes opinion......BTW my tires are wearing unevenly in the inner side of the tire.......Comments appreciated!
ball joints dont go bad that fast. think about it every ef ive owned has never had a bad uper balljoint and how old are they? almost 20 years and the ball joints are fine i doubt you gona keep this car for more then 10. if you still worried get an ingalls camber kit it uses your stock arm.
Ok.....this guy really wanted me to let him just bend the arms but I rather just buy the Skunk2 racing ones and call it a day. When they go they go.....oh well!
