Some questions about the ls and gsr
If I get an Integra I am not sure which one I should get. I am only 17 and dont have a lot of money. It would be cheaper for me to buy a LS and turbo it. Would that produce good 1/4 mile times or should i just go with the gsr and stay n/a. What are some 1/4 miles times for LS turbo's??????
An LS turbo would no doubt smoke a NA GSR. An average quarter mile time with for an LS with I/H/E, turbo and a few other goodies would be around mid to high 13's. (That's with a five speed). I say go with the LS and turbo it. You will have much more fun with a 265 whp LS than a NA GSR. Also, nothing beats the sound of a BOV!
if you want to set yourself the RIGHT way with a turbo, you'll need about as much money as you would if you just got the gsr. An LS turbo will give you way more hp than any stock gsr will, even at low psi and stock internals. But any forced induction setup deserves to be planned out right if you want it to produce the best results and give you less of a headache down the line. An improperly tuned turbo or weak internals with too much boost will mean you'll have a lot of maintenance issues.
Honestly, i'm a student and i have an LS... i wouldn't give it up for the world. I love it and if i had the money to boost it, i would. But let us know how much of a budget you are talkin about and make an informed decision.

Well I have an 89 crx dx and I plan on selling that for about 1500. Then i am going to save up about 2 more grand before i buy the integra. The LS payments will be much lower and I will be able to save for the turbo. Also after buying the turbo I would plan on upgrading the internals before installing it.
