Um, I have a 92 Prelude with a JDM F22B I just bought. What does it mean by the ps rack is leaking and how do I resolve it?

your seals on your powersteering rack have most likely gone bad and need to be replaced.......hopefully nothing is bent or warped causing the leak

 

I had the same problem wit my lude when i bought it. Was cruising down the road wit a bunch of friends, all of a sudden the car wanted to pull to the left. Also on turns the wheel would jerk. What i did was found the cheapest rack and pinion online. Printed up the sheet with the price on it and went to advanced autoparts. They matched the price and i saved like 200 dollars. Only took like 6 hours to put in. Just make sure u heat the lines up when u remove them u DONT want them to break it will up the cost alot and make alot tougher. Also when u put the power steering fluid in after install make sure u use hondas ps fluid.....thats the only kind u can use for the lude. Also u will need a alignment when done. Also make sure u mark the tie rod ends so u can get ur alignment as close as possible so u can drive it to get the alignment w/o eating tires. Cost with labor was like 800-1000 to do at a garage. Cost me like 350 with everything to do by myself. Hope this helps and good luck with it.

 

Since I'll probably have to replace the rack anyways, do u think the complete ones on eBay are any good? All the ones I looked at were complete and stock and in good or excellent condition.
