Default Temp guage not working!!!

I have an EG with a ls/vtec swap. The guage worked last week and all I changed was the transmission and clutch. The fan still cuts on and of but all the sudden my temp guage does not work. Any suggestions?

did you clip the head temp sensor back on? its on the side of your head, probably under the upper radiator hose outlet.

I will double check. Are there two temp sensors? If not then it is plugged in.

there is only one temp sensor and it's under the dizzy. it has the needle plug just like the oil pressure sending unit but smaller. your probably aslo thinking of the fan switch which is on the thremostate housing. some people thinks that's the temp sensor.

Found the problem. It was the push in plug under the dizzy. The wire ripped out of the plug. Thanks for the help, works great. But now my brake lights won't work. I checked fuses. I think it is the brake switch. Its always one thing after another.
