Screws on rotor's. Help removing them.
I bought new rotor's and brake pad's the other day, and when i went to install them I could not get the freaking screw's off. Is there a way. I thought about drilling them, but im not sure if they are needed. Any help would be appreciated. Tried searching didnt come up with alot.

You need to get an impact screwdriver.

Its like a screwdriver with a mechanism inside it that will turn when you whack it with a hammer. They are fairly affordable if you look around. You can try to mutiliate and drill them out, but its a huge bit-eating hassle compared to one or two whacks with an impact screwdriver.

in a worst case you can just use a regular phillips with a hammer and twist your hand left while hitting it, it works most of the time too

I just took a phillips head that fit in there tight, it's got to be a dull-tipped kind, and hit it with a hammer. That held it in pretty good for me to be able to loosen them. I do plan on ditching them next time I change my rotors though.

Just drill the heads off with a 1/4 drill. They are soft brass. Let the Then pull hte rotor off and use a vise grip to pull them out the rest of hte way.
I got one of those tools from harbor freight for $5 and it was well worth it but if anyone searches in the future, yes you can drill them out very easy they are made of a super soft metal and can be easily drilled out
