Replacing rotors?

Hello yall,
Well I can't seem to figure out how to get my rotors off my car.
I searched and the only info I found was (remove calipers, remove two screws, and pull them off)
Sounds easy, and I got the calipers off and the screws out, but my ROTORS seem to be stuck or something.
I tried hammering one of them (slowly turning to get it to pull evenly) with no luck. Do I just need a bigger hammer?
I don't want to damage anything in the removal besides the rotors (they are junk anyway.)
If anyone could please help me I would really appreciate it. I don't have the cash to take it in so that is not an option.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks
Derek

I could torch it I guess, but I dont want to damage my bearings or anything in the process. Are you certain this wont hurt anything?
I already have the calipers off and the screws out, THE ROTORS ARE STUCK. They will not budge at all.
Any other sugestions would be fantastic.
Thanks

lol i dont mean melt the damn thing off when you heat molecules they move faster it helps loosen the screws
What I did was basically first I took off those 2 screws on the caliper. And then pulled off the caliper from the rotor. Also remember to put down the ebrake when doing the rear rotors, it helps..lol.. Then unscrew the 2 phillips screws that are screwed into the rotor, I used PB blaster and WD 40 to loosen it up. Then use a rubber mallet or a covered hammer with towels wrapped around it and start hitting the rotor straight on at all sides of the rotor to loosen it up off the hub. Then sooner or later it will start to pop out and you juss pull it out, keeping in mine of the 4 studs to guide it out. And your done and put in ur new brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors..hehe...dats whut i got

I replaced rotors on my 5g. The procedures were similar to 4g I think. The philips screws were hard like hell to take it out, and they were very easy to be stripped if you don't use the right size philips. I used a lot of WD-40. Anyway I used an electric drill to open it. I broke couple bits at first until I found the right size bit that fit perfectly. Bam, I opened it. Hope this could help you.

Does the AXLE NUT have to come off?
I don't think so but I just want to make sure before I start beating it harder.
I was doing exactly as you did (darkEN4thgenlude) but I didn't want to damage anything so I quit and thought I would get some advise.
If all is well, I will give it a shot again this weekend.
Thanks for your help everyone And again more advise or methods would be great.

No need to take off the axle nut. The hardest part really is tryin to screw off the phillips screws off the rotor and then everything else is easy. Get a good quality screwdriver and a hammer. Apply the phillips screwdriver to the screw and hammer the screwdriver in, then carefully with some muscle turn the screwdriver be carful not to strip it.
nope the axle nut does not have to come off. They are full floating rotors. Just make sure you remove the calipers, brake pad mount, and phillips screws that hold the rotor on. Then beat it with a hammer. It will break loose.

don't use a hammer and a screwdriver for the phillips. get an impact driver for 10 bucks.
as far as the seized rotors, if you look at the rotors, you'll see a threaded hole. find a bolt that fits that hole and screw it in. this will pop the rotor off. unfortunately i can't remember what the thread and pitch are, but if i had to guess i'd say 6mm x 1.0.

The impact driver is for the screws holding the rotor on. Don't try it with a screwdriver, you'll hate yourself for it. As for the rotor being stuck...I gave it a few hard whacks with a rubber mallet and it loosened up.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to post this . . .
Yes, there are two threaded holes on the rotor where you can screw bolts in. Gradually crank the bolts in turn, and it will pry the rotor off of the hub for you.

I've reached the part with the two phillips screws holding the rotor to the hub (on an integra but I think they're the same).
I've got the impact driver, but there is one screw on each side that will NOT come off no matter what. I've soaked in liquid wrench + pb blaster for 10 minutes at a time, then applied heat with a propane torch, let it cool down, and went at it with the impact driver + hammer but no luck. The screws are getting tore up too, soon they will be threaded.
Any other options?

you can drill, or you can try using an impact wrench.
my impact driver came with a removable head that just happens to fit on 1/2" drive guns and rachets. threw it on my harbor freight cordless impact and took em right off.
if they are too stripped then drilling is your only option.
don't worry about mangling the screws or the holes they thread into, i took out the set screws and left them out--they're only there so that the rotor doesn't wobble when the wheels are off. otherwise, the force from the lugnuts keeps the rotor in tight.

Take a die grinder and cut a giant slit into them. Then take a flathead screwdriver and turn it out.
If you don't have a die grinder, then that's just bad, and you should get one. It helps me with everything, including the problem with squirrels sleeping under my deck.
