Default B16a in a 97 HX

Hey everyone new to the site!! I recently was given a b16a from a buddy of mine and he had it in his 91 teg that he wrecked doing 135. The car is pretty much totaled but the engine is still good. He just wants to get it out of his yard due to the lack of space he has. He was going to call the wrecker and just have them take it but i told him if i could have his motor and he said ok. So my question is that what would i need to get that motor in my HX civic? I currently have a d16y5 turbo in my car but i think im ready for a bit more power. Any info appreciated!!! thanks in advance!

Then you, my friend, ******* suck at searching. There's tons of **** about doing B16 swaps, of all OBD's.

PS:
It's not exactly what many would refer to as "a bad boy" - it's a winder engine, without much more power than a D16 before VTEC. If you want power out of it you g2 wind the **** out of it... and your turbo-D can smash the **** out of it.

So what you'll need:
- OBD-II injectors
- Wire your OBD-I dizzy to OBD-II (plug diagrams are everywhere) so it plugs into the harness fine
- OBD-IIa to OBD-I conversion harness with an OBD-I ECU (right out of the stock 'teg)
- B series mounts (can be found in the 'teg)
- B series axles (should also be in the teg...unless they're fucked up from the wreck)

Everything there is plug and play except the wiring of the dizzy - you don't even need to wire up VTEC.

Yes.

Standard B to civic conversion.

...

It'd be revealed plenty of times in the search option. You're not the first person to put a B series engine in a civic.

his tranny wont work. go get yourself a gsr hydro trans.

you need the rear t bracket out of a 99-00 si, and the drivers side mount post out of the si also. the teg mounts wont work.

axles and shift linkage can be out of any 99-00 si or 94+ integra, but not a del sol vtec.

you will also need an obd2 vtec distributor, from any b16 96 or newer
