Default Hatch wont and will start

ok heres the deal i own a 93 hatch and about a month ago it would take more than 15-20 seconds for the fuelpump to kick in so i thought it was the main relay so i waited the whole month to buy it so when i changed it kept do that but even worse so while i was at the store it doesnt start for like a whole hour There was no spark and the fuel pump wasent working so i towed it to the shop and left it over night and by the morning it turn on and work fine for like 5-10 minutes and it shut off and did the same thing

Cliff Notes:
Brand new main relay from Honda
Car has no spark and fuel pump kicks in when it wants
But after a while it turns on fine but only lasts a good 5-10 minutes

I would do this...

Replace your cap and rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires. Btw... hows your battery?

Sounds like a possible problem with the ignition switch.

have you changed you fuel filter lately I have had a few cars that the filter was so clogged that the car would run on fuel left in the line and shut off due to poor fuel flow.

Check fuel filter. If that isn't the case..

Do like everyone else says. Ignition switch.
