am i going to need an crankshaft position sensor i have a b16a sir2 im running an obd1 p28. i am reusing my factory d16y8 harness but my motor came with no crank sensor. im pretty sure that obd1 doesnt use these but i just wanted to make sure. if i dont need it can i keep my factory distributor or am i going to have to buy an obd1 distributor?

 

i am sure its been covered before obd1 doesnt use crank sensor so is my newer distributor going to work fine with the obd1 ecu? i shouldnt throw ne codes for not using crank sensor??
