Default Is 13.5.1 to much compression for daily use?

On a mild K20a with K-Pro, headers, CAI, valve springs, cams, and cam gears, is 13.5.1 pistons to much to be used as a daily driver? Or better, is this to much compression for a 90% stock block and head?

are you going to retard the timings like crazy? if you are, then i dont even think its worth going that high. if you're not, make sure u can get high octane gas.

on the topic of it being a daily driver, i would have to say no. can you honestly afford octanes higher than 91? 91 octane is almost 3 dollars a gallon down here in so cal. its hanging around this price and i dont see prices dropping drastically anytime soon. so, if you're going to do some sort of 50% 100 octane and 50% of 91, it might cost u around 4 dollars a gallon. if cost goes up, so does your gas, so you might want to think twice about going so high. also, you have to hope you never ever get bad gas

I wouldn't go over 12.0

Stock compression is fine, its already 11.5

I think that 12.5:1 would be max comp ratio for a daily driver!

stock is 11:1. the highest honda/acura has for their production cars in the US is 11:1. they had this on their k series and the f20/22. i think the TL also has 11:1. not sure about other honda/acura cars.

if you run 93 octane, and have k pro you whould be fine with that comp ratio, if you have a good tuner

but it whouldnt do you any good, you whouldnt make any more power with that comp ratio, over say 12.5:1, theres no reason to go that high with stock head, stock cams, stock im, and stock block, there whould be no real gains from it
