Default Removing Cat, need to re-tune?

Hi all,
Setup is a B18B, Garrett T3 10Psi, 232Whp on a mustang dyno.

I got a 2.5'' Dp to a 3'' high flow magnaflow Cat, to a 3'' exhaust. People keep saying to remove the Cat for faster spool.

My question is: if turbo spool faster, it will need more gaz at that time so I will need to get the car to the dyno again... I am right?

Thank you for any input related.

meh, i dunno. personally i would have thought you would be fine since your cat is a high flow and i wouldnt think it would make much difference.

if it doesn't really make a difference then you don't really have to remove the cat.
but if you remove it and it spools or makes more power i would retune it.

increasing the efficiency of the engine, whether it be inhaling or exhaling, would be best accompanied with a tune.

very true. i would retune it period. anything more you put on your car or take off is going to affect your AF ratioo. a good 30 min tune should be just fine.

More air out = more air in. Retune to be safe, or borrow a wideband and see how much it changed.
