Was that dyno tested? Is it an SRT-4?

The answer is they generally don't make a big difference. If it's a modified SRT-4 it would make a bigger difference though then a standard neon.

The SRT 4 does not come with a cat. The emissions were good enough with the turbo.

Depends on the car. Fully build motor it will make more difference than a stock one.... On a neon 1-2 hp tops...

Wrong.

Cat, and 2 resonators...I'm guessing you meant no mufflers?

a high flow cat is obviously better than a stock one. Having a test pipe will definitely give more hp.

Yeah but the OP's friend was talking about what the best mod is on his car. I'd say either a boost controller or whatever the piggyback unit is (not sure what they are called for Dodge/mopar) that controls the boost might make him the most power. I guess he doesn't have one.

The piping is only halfway. Like the mufflers on old Novas and stuff; how the muffler only goes to the middle of the car.

this neon is the 420a engine which is the non turbo 2.0liter. He said its built with cams and some slightly bumped up compression. He claims over 200whp???

Haha. I laugh at your friend. A high flow cat being the best mod on a 200 whp N/A 2.0L motor....please.

Ok, the SRT4's don't have 200 WHP...

He drives a dodge, he's an idiot.

And welcome me to my first post...after I lost my 1000 other ones.
