headlight adjustment

Default headlight adjustment

my headlights on my eg damn near point straight to the ground...so unless it's like 30 ft in front of me i cant see it..and it's getting prett mdan annoying...how do i adjust the angle of light from the headlight? my highbeams seem to be at a good angle..but my lows are sagging....advice? thanks in advance..

Just loosen the top two bolts on the headlight housing and push the top up, then tighten them back up. (you might need to loosen the side bolts to gain more maneuverability judging by how far outta whack it is)

I call it the "ghetto adjustment."

It works though.

thanks...so are there little screws for adjusting on our cars? he didnt specify in the article..

lol..i was thinking this...but didnt try it because of the "ghetto" factor of it...wanted to know if there is an actual way of doing it...thanks for the tip regardless..

theres one on each light ull be able to see it by where the healight and corner light meet it holds the corner light in place... lemme know if u cant find it ill find u a pic

so i finally wnt out there and tried to adjust it...the headlights are already pushed up as far as the housing will allow...and what corner screw? think you can post that pic egmatt? do you mean the single screw that holds the corner to the headlight? i tightened that and didnt do anything...now..on the headlight housing..theres this wheel that has teethe onit..what is that for? i spun it a bit and didnt seem to do anything..anyone know what thats for?

the wheel with teeth on it are the screws you turn to adjust the bulb from left, right, up, and down. i dont remember which way you turn to go left or right or up or down. just play with it a little with your car faced a wall at night and set it wherever you feel comfortable.

not sure never done this on the eg should be the same though, but on my dc i pulled about 15 feet away from a wall with the lights on and used a very long screw driver and turned the wheel to adjust the lights up.... dont go too high though unless you wanna **** everyone on the road off...
