Default question about EK PIPING and CAT converter

alright i drive a 97 civic hatchback CX. Right now i have a STOCK pipng in my ek and a obd1 sohc vtec motor(d15b). i have no cat. i just bought an apexi world spor2 catback exhaust for 96-00 civic DX/CX hatchbacks. I also bought a civic 99-00 SI obd2 CAT converter. what im wonderin is will all this new stuff i bought fit in my EK? and after it does or after i make it fit, then i plan on swappin to a obd2 sohc vtec or LS will it still fit without welding again? and will my obd2 cat go with my obd1 motor? i know itll still give a cel but itll still quiet down my exhaust right? thanks in advance

I had a Tanabe SMH exhaust for my CX/DX and was running an aftermarket J-pipe to hook it to my stock Y7 manifold and catalytic. I swapped a B18B1 with a GSR catalytic, and had to cut off about 3" and reweld the flange.
