I think I understand his question as I have an Ek...
The exhaust on a USDM EK is different from anyother. If you're getting a B swap, you'll need a cat back exhaust from a 92-95 EG (I tested the piping, it fits). Then get a B series exhaust manifold (header) and cat. They should bolt right up with little or no mods.

no, your not supposed to use a cat back from an EG. it may fit like u said. but its not necessary.
an EK w/ a B-swap will use an exhaust system made for an EK. what do u think the 99-00 si's are? B series EK.
and i dont know why u brought this back from the dead anyway....

Re: (hondaZvic)
I have a B18C1 in my hatch with a DC header. The flanges on the DC header do not bolt up to a stock civic exhaust, but they bolt up perfectly to a cat that came off a GSR. Now, it looks like I will have to get a custom-made midpipe, and I am in the dark in terms of which muffler to use.
By the way, the car is a 2000 DX hatch.
