Default help me pick a HO alternator

i'm on a tight budget, but need a HO alternator to support my amplifier.

i'll be running approximately 1600W RMS.

my car is a 99 honda accord 2.3L I4, it comes stock with an 80 amp alternator.

i'm looking at one on ebay for $120 shipped that does 130 amps. it comes with a 90 day warranty.

or this one: http://verizonsupersite.com/4a...10013

which does 150 amps and costs $250. it comes with a lifetime warranty.

that's a HUGE difference in price.

i really do like the lifetime warranty, but cost is a main concern.

i also realize that 130 amps probably really isn't enough (150 might not even be enough), but this is really all my budget will allow.

which one do you think i should go with?

also, this will be with the stock battery. i'll try and put a deep cycle under the hood if my budget will allow (in the future).

only found a few. some refurb's (80 amp), 130 amp for $120, and a few from iraggi (200 amp for $300 seems like a good deal, if only i had the money).

i know this is not what you're going to hear, because i'm sure you're eager to get one and put it in. the best advice i can give you though is to shop around...i mean really do some research. it will mean you'll have to wait a little while longer, but by then you'll have saved a little money, and can be sure that you got the best product you could. there is nothing worse than buying something in a hurry only to discover that it wasnt as good as you thought it was going to be. a lot of parts stores can get you high output alternators as well, you just have to ask them. chances are out of laziness they'll tell you they can't, so when you ask, make sure you're talking to a manager or somebody you're familiar with. by buying one locally you're also saving yourself a great deal of down time should something go wrong.
