Hey was up. I wanted to know which of these trannys was LSD. Or if both of them are. thanks

 

The bottom is, I dunno about the top...can you get another picture? If there's not a diagonal bar hanging in the middle of the line of sight, it's LSD - or that's my experience anyhow.

 

Ummm mine looks like the top one. And you can see thru it but that little ring is there. Its a Cable Y1. So i wanted to know. And no theres no bar anywhere.

 

The bottom is defiantely LSD. Now your's try putting the axles inside, and spin them if they rotate the same direction than yes, it is equipped with LSD.

 

What if i just turn the input shaft. I cant get any axels in there at this time. If i turn the input shaft which way should the axle holes goes.

they are both LSD, just differant types.

that's the same thing i see as well.

rotating the axles or wheels is a false way to tell if the tranny is equipped with LSD.
the true way is looking for the bar that runs through.

 

the top one has lsd, cuz that was my tranny. its a cable SOHC w/ aftermarket unit

 

Ok i understand now. So now i wanna see a non lsd picture. Like the bar that everyone is talking about. Anyone got any pictures?

just think about either of those pics with a round bar between the two sides, its actually cylinder shaped and shiny.
