Default using a s100 to run individual throttle bodies

I was told by an unreliable source that using an hondata s100 when tuning a motor with ITB's would have unsuccessful results, i would like to know if this is true.

i would appreciate if a knowledgeable person would shed some light on this situation-thanx

S100 does not offer Alpha-N or TPS/MAP tuning capabilities, so tuning partial throttle will be difficult, and only a good tuner with experience tuning ITB's solely off MAP will achieve normal driveability.

Same thing. TPS/MAP vs RPM and TPS vs RPM options. Plus you have the ability to scale your TPS voltage to match that of the throttlebodies.

the s300 sucks compared to the others that allow TPS tuning though.....go with crome or AEM if you can afford that.....

the ability to scale the tps voltage would definitely be a plus to help with tuning. and crome offers this, also the price differences should definitely be taken into consideration. aem~1000 s300~550 crome software is free to my understanding

i would HIGHLY suggest going with Crome Pro to tune ITB's. Without Pro, your going to be battling with your motor trying to get closed loop right.
