Default D15b2 bad - D15b7 long block using b2 dpfi, etc???

My d15b2 is junk. I can get d15b7 block pretty easily. Can I use a D15b7 long block with all of the b2 stuff on it? I am pretty sure this should work but am not sure.
Thanks,
Aaron

yes,,use the old intake manifold, exhaust manifold,distributor,ecu,etc..and it will run fine...Not sure about the coolant hoses though, they might need to be changed

also you need to extend your fan switch wires then solder on a different plug that will work with the d15b7

So the dizzy bolt pattern is the same for both motors? I know some of the d15's vary on what dizzy they need. Just wanna make sure the B2 dizzy will work on the d15b7.

It may just be the vtec D series dizzys that are different though.

Thanks for any help.

Ok thanks. I must have remembered that from swapping a JDM d15b into my EG a couple years ago.
