Default whole in block

I came across a b18a1 for almost nothing. There is a small hole where the coolant would be. It about the same size of a quarter if you were to turn it on it's side(like the same size of a coin machine where you would put coins in a vending machine)not big at all. Would JB Welding it work if it is done the right way. Thanks

Do not get this block. LS blocks are dime and dozens. They are everywhere. I can name like 50 people right now selling LS blocks.

Thanks for the input guys....I don't think I'm getting it. The guy is gonna keep it I think and weld the whole. Would JB Weld hold up pretty good if it is done right or what?

Its the theory of Murphy's Law !
It will hold up just fine until your 50 miles from no where with no cell phone signal after dark. For real though , even if the red neck patch works you'll NEVER be able to have any faith and trust in that motor.

i dont think "jb weld" and "done right" belong together in the same sentence.

Don't do it and it you were going to attempt to repair it I'd actually weld it not JB Weld.

Lol. I definitely know that "JB Weld" and "Hole in engine block" don't belong together in the same sentence.
