hey i got a question... this is my story.. i got 92 dx hatch with usdm b16a2 swap, chipped skunk2 p28 ecu and converted to obd1. i bought the car with this set up already. now i notice that on my IAVC & FITV doesnt have a coolant lines on them. the 4 nipple has cover. this should be like this or i should connect them properly? and how this gonna affect my engine? pls help me tnx...

 

not at all.. thats just to keep them items from frezzing in the winter.. i live in new orleans so i keep mine bypass.. if it gets really cold up there it might be a issue..

they bypass cuz it heats your manifold up.. it might be by 1 degree but if you ever lost a race by .005 secs you will remember the little things

 

alright tnx man... even i live in LA cali, i think ill connect that IACV... coz at start/warm up im having a problem...

 

Whoever you bought the car from probably couldn't figure out wjy their car was idling poorly so they bypassed it......no big deal idles probably adjusted a little wierd though!!! But I don't think its gonna get that cold in la I live in michigan and have never had a freezing problem myself.
