Default TEIN SS dampers....good or bad choice?

I'm picking out my whole setup that I'm gonna be runnin with on my new DC2....Just wonderin if the TEIN SS damper setup is a good choice. I'm gonna do a whole JDM ITR conversion on a newer chassis (the 2nd gen is gettin old), and i've already got the motor, just trying to figure out what to get, and if it works good. So basically is it better than the ITR suspension? If not, then I won't spend the 1300 for the TEIN's, and just stick with the ITR suspension. Thanks for the input, I'm not looking to spend more than 1500 on suspension.

Its gonna be a daily driver/track car (not 1/4 track...'real' racing). I have tokico 5-ways w/skunk2 coilovers on my DA, and it sucks real bad...i want some high quality stuff....

Stick with ITR suspension until you can outdrive it.

tein ss would be an excellent choice for you considering you're just a weekend racer.. it'll be better than itr suspension

if things work out, yes. I've been hard pressed lately but I've been able to set aside some money and hopefully I can find a front wrecked ITR, with or w/o motor doesn't matter, I have the JDM R and its excellent, plus the JUN 3's will be in it within the next few weeks. Motor is taken care of, now i just need a good chassis to work with. Hopefully I'll be able to run along with the bug boys at Pac. Raceway soon!!
