Default h22a build!

Have a jdm h22a thats in my 92 hatch cx. Curious of what kind of options I have to work with $4,000-$5,000. Bottom end is getting built reguardless because of the rings. Boost, n/a, semi-built with 75 wet shot???? Already have some prices on things and what hp ill be making. Just wanted to see what you all thought or your opinions.

think hard about N/A, maybe go with an RMF,SMSP, or hytec header(might fit in a civic) ITB's, high comp pistons and direct port nitrous.

^i got plenty of room for the header.....took out the A/C and anything i didnt need so i have plenty of room to work with. My original plan was the 75 shot with bottom end built and valve train upgrade......

It depends on what you want. with 4-5k u could have a fast reliable turbo setup.

for 4-5k you'd have to do a junk yard build for sure, a good kit costs around 3k, N/A you could go with, nice header, a nice rebuild, a solid set of cams, with full valve train upgrade, possibly a set of ITB's and direct port nitrous. that right there would be a fast *** car and you could get it for around 5k(probly more) if you did the work yourself excluding the rebuild

We've done set-ups making 200whp NA up to 575whp with a turbo application.

It depends on what you want.

well im not doing the build up my self. I dont have the time because I work full time and go to school full time so I will be paying labor too. Taking my stuff to Zerolift Autolab in Cinci, Oh. They have a turbo set-up that would cost me $3,500 (i think thats what he told me) hooked up and out the door. But i also need to have my bottom end rebuilt because I have fried rings. I would like to be making 300+ to the wheels. Im not going all out and build to the extreme. If i do boost it, i just want it to be reliable. Maybe like 8lbs most of the time and like 14-16lbs when im feelin good.

so 3500 now if you have 5k your down to 1500 out of that you'll need to buy all the turbo extras, tuning, sleeving, pistons, rods, bearings, some kind of EMS, i dunno you might have to extend that budget a bit.
