Look i know this is a tired *** topic and bazzilions of people have had the same problem. It seems that some cases are worse than others. Ive searched and every single person seems to have a different solution to the problem. Some work for one person but not the other. All i want to know is how do you Identify whats causing your specific problem?
For example, My window started falling off track every once in a while once it started to get cold this year. It only does it when its cold outside. I heard greasing/lubing the track would help so i did that. Didnt do anything. Hear that a new track would fix it. $20 later is didnt do expletive and now i cant put my window down all the way regaurdless of tempature without it falling off.

How to identify the culprit = Take door panel off and observe...i suggest you look at the little rollers on the regulator...
Usually the guides can use a little lube and the bolts that hold the window on the track below can use to be tightened. Use Lock Tite!

i had the same issue with my ek a few weeks ago. after lubing the track using silicone spray, it would still jump off the track. there is an adjustment on the bottom of the track. i moved it over, and no problems since.
