This has been happening for awhile now. I'll start the car and acclerate( I park on very small hill) and the car sounds like its trying to get energy then a second later it speeds up like nothing ever happened. d15b2 (186k) I haven't changed the fuel filter yet maybe thats it?

Sounds like you need sparkplugs. If not that, then wires, if not that, then something in your fuel.

 

^newer spark plugs/wires, so maybe it is something fuel related, but fuel injectors were working fine which a mechanic told me.

 

Does it do it every time you acelerate or just when you first start is after sitting for a while?

When its warmed up its less noticable, but when It's not warm it does it every time.

Mine does that when it's first started in the morning. I assume it's somewhat normal.
