As cheap as a new relay is (45.00) why would you buy a used one?????

I second that, it dosn't pay to buy a part like that second hand especially from a source with unknown history. Better getting new parts on items like electrical, at least you can return it if it's the wrong or faulty new part. And you know it should have a full life expectancy.

You could also check the ignition switch or the ignitor (in the distributor).

If the ignition switch is old and worn, the car will randomly die...that's probably not it, but it doesn't hurt to check.

If the plug is the same, it will work. Sorry for being a smart@ss in my first reply. You can get a aftermarket at any parts store for about 45.99. Ask for a 90-93 Accord though.
