Short Shifter problem

I just installed a skunk 2 short shifter after i finished it was extremly hard to shift the gears, like i have to force it in the gears...is this normal? did i do something wrong?????please help thanks

Try loosening the bolt that holds the linkage to the shifter.

you tightened it too tight like the first guy said.

and lube that **** up while you're at it.
