Mine is very noisy at cold start, you can actually hear the internals clanging inside the block, is this normal? How long should it take to dissapear?

normally depends on how high of a silicon content your pistons have.

JE pistons normally have a higher silicon content than others so they "rattle" more on cold start than others.

normally the rattling should go away in under a min

this is how it was with my gsr motor with je pistons

JE's generally use a .0035 halfway down the skirt piston wall clearance. Higher silicone content causes less expansion when heated therefore less rattle due to being able to run a tigher piston to wall. JE's have made minimal noise in my experience.
