99 civic dx hatch wont start!!!
ok here is my problem i went to start my car the other day to go to work and with no luck it would not start.. it turns over and i hear the fuel pump prime but it still wont fire.. i have replaced the spark plugs dist cap and fuel filter and the fuel pump nothing has fixed it. also i am wondering if there is a coil on this car? or what could be the problem i have spent about all the monya that i want to on replacing parts that i think are it.. plus the car needed a tune up anyway.. but any info would be great thanks......
i did that today and ya it has spark. i gave it a little gas when i tryed starting it again and it acted like it was going to start but nothing still.. and ya i realize it has a coil but i was unaware of the location of the coil but i figured it out. so any other ideas on this how can i check the injectors to see if its getting fuel to the injectors.. or could the timing be off i just had the timing belt replaced and the water pump. just wondering if it might be a timming issue.. and if so how could i check the timing...
get some starting fuild.. spray in to your intake... its basicly spray gas..
if you car turns over.. it will almost run on it for a sec.. you have a fuel problem

check the resistance on the injector from the pins on the injector,, also you can check too see if power is getting to the injector plug.. put the volt meter (+) on one wire of the plug and the volt meter (-) to the motor (any ground)... come back with the results of all them test... i don;t remember what color wire should have power but if they both dead you know whats up.. with ingniton on
ya i have pressure to the fule rail and thanks for all the info.. i will come back with the results from these tests.. it wont be till monday just so you know. but thanks guys for everything..
