does anyone know if there is a difference in the vitaras coming from puerto rico and the ones that are available from the stealership? i have a set of.5mm overbore vitaras ( that is apparently a size taht is only available from the dealership) and im wondering if there is a difference in the strength of these i have and the ones that people like FJT are selling out of PR

ive had a set of the PR ones before and there is an obvious appearance difference. the oem ones arent coated and the oil holes in the pistons are different

they are a different heat treated alloy. why dont you just ask fjt???

Yes there is a difference. The OEM from the dealership are not made from the same material..and dont have the coating that the Y.C.P. ones have..

For once the replacement piston is way better than the OEM...OEM ones wont hold the same power as the Y.C.P. ones.
