well heres the situation, i just got a 93 civic si with 75,000 miles on it, its all stock and i have about $3500.00 to spend.. i dont know whether to get a swap now while nothing is done to the car and just slowly do everything else.. or just beef up my suspension and get new rims and a paint job and just get the swap later down the line.. my plans for the car for now is just daily driving to get to work and back home and the ocasional road trip to wherever.. eventually i want to be able to autocross in this hatch but thats after i get another car and this one will be the weekend car or something.. what would you do?

if your just gonna DD it and auto-x it...i would just beef up the suspension and get a good set of rims and tires..swap can always be down later down the road...you dont need a swap to be fast in auto-x

Leave the car stock and put the money into something that won't depreciate? If you're going to autocross it anyway, leave it stock and invest in some 15" wheels and falken azenis tires. You're going to get your butt whooped anyway, might as well stay in the stock class so you don't waste money while doing so.
