Can I replace my ignition switch?
I recently took my car into the shop, and they told me I need a new ignition unit. I would prefer buying the part off ebay and trying to fix it myself, but I have no knowledge on fixing cars, and don't know whether it's something I myself can do alone. Might anyone know whether this is an easy task that I can accomplish? If so, does anyone know of a place site where I could find out how this can be done? Thanks!
Edit- well I managed to replace the part before anyone responded. So if anyone wants to know- you can, and it will take probably less than 2-3 hours.

A repair manual should really help you, like Haynes or the factory manual. You can usually buy both on Ebay, and the latter can be had in a CD form for your computer. Auto stores also carry repair manuals like Chiltons.
Look here, i posted this, there's even a few pics
