anyone know for sure if a z6 pan will bolt up to a D16Y8, i think i read somewhere it would but i want to be sure before i buy.

No it will not. Well I'm 95% sure it wont, I tried to put a y8 oil pan on a z6 and it was different.. I remember that the z6 was like steel or something while the y8 was aluminum. Besides the pan being a different type of metal it just wouldn't fit either.

 

darn. anyone else have any input before i make my final decision?

 

totally different pans. like said above. diff material. and yes Y8 pans are expensive
