Default Anyone make a 7/16"-24 -4an .035" oil restrictor in stainless steel?

I'm just curious if anyone has come across this fitting. ATP has them in brass, and Slowboy in aluminum. I found another guy that sells an inline -4an oil filter with a built-in restrictor. It doesn't sound like a bad idea, but it's .8mm, which is smaller than .035". Also, if no one sells stainless, then are there other people who make them?

My question would be why does it have to be stainless? Brass has no problems with most chemicals, and aluminum is fine with gas & oil. My home-made steel/solder restrictor is fine, as the solder is good to 500 degrees. If your motor oil is hitting 400+ outside the block, you've got other problems.

I'd suggest taking the typical brass or steel fitting, soldering/welding it shut, then drilling that size hole in it. Assuming you cleaned the brass first and used flux, there should be no issues.

So you just soldered shut a steel fitting? as in with a soldering gun?

I'd rather pay the $22+ shipped that ATP wants for a brass fitting than buy the properly sized fitting, have it welded shut, then drill a hole. I buy stainless if it's available. Every fitting in my oil line setup is stainless, including the tees. Brass is OK, but turns green eventually.
