JRSC Help
Hey newbie Canadian signing in after 4 years of leaching on HT
Last year set up was bone stock d16y7
T1r header and 2.5inch exhaust. short ram intake.
450 cc injectors.
Chrome engine management.
8.5 flywheel and Center-Force clutch
JDM lsd Transmission
Fully Ported Endyn modded m45 blower
I ran 10psi of boost with no problems. I don't know the HP or TQ but the car ran a 13.9 on street tires so I think its pretty quick. Between 165 to 180 Hp ?
2030 pounds without driver. Its a very competitive SM auto x car here in Canada and placed 4th at Packwood National Tour 2006. But it needs to go faster"
2007 build up
Block Posted 16a6 with D15B head
Scat rods which seem to be same price a US dollar but in Canadian
SRP pistons 9.5 compression
OEM Honda bearings?
ARP head studs and z6 head gasket.
3.4 pulley and maybe a bigger crank pulley. Im currently running a Z6 pulley.
Should net me around 10.3 10.5 compression ratio which from what I read is the spot to be in.
Im hoping for around 185 to 200 WHP
From you experienced JRSC guys should I run a Cooling mist setup for xtra insurance.Lets say for hot days or if I go for a lapping day?.
Also does anybody know what is the coating inside a JRSC there seem's to be a bit a material (coating) missing here and there and if I can figure out what it is I would like to get it re-coated. Teflon??
Thanks Shane
